Have you ever started doing one thing that lead you into a whole new area? You started walking just to lose a few pounds and now you are a fitness trainer. You were hoping just to take a night course on accounting in order to help you manage your taxes, now you have a thriving small business. Who can say or even know how these things happen but when they do you have to take full advantage of the moment. And that is what this designer did, she started making jewelry for friends and family and that lead her wanting her clothing to match her Jewelry. So world let me be the first to introduce you to Victoria Morgan owner of Victorious Creations.
We did a photo shoot this weekend and here is a look at some of her creations.

Lion Sight: How long have you been a designer?
Victoria: 8 months for clothes, 16 years for jewelry
Lion Sight: When did you know you could even be a designer?
Victoria: Well I’ve been designing jewelry for 16 years, so I think designing clothes is just another facet of my creativity.
Lion Sight: Do you have a website?
Victoria: No, I’m still in the beginning process. Smile
Lion Sight: Who is your favorite designer?
Victoria: None in particular
Lion Sight: What is your favorite part about being a fashion designer?
Victoria: I love to create and see what the end result is. The gratification with seeing others happy with a garment is very rewarding.
Lion Sight: How do you select the materials you used?
Victoria: I select materials by the way it feels and the look of at the end result that is desired. So on some of the occasions my garments may be worn for a night out or just for business and also how the material lays on a woman’s body.
Lion Sight: What skills are important for a career in fashion?
Victoria: A good eye for color and patterns and to keep up with the latest trends in a rtw (ready to wear) garments.
Lions Sight: How do you stay up to date with fashion?
Victoria: By looking online at different trends, seeing what color pallets are for the different seasons and of course magazines and fashion websites.
Lion Sight: Where do you hope to be in 5 years?
Victoria: Owning an online store or even a small boutique, that would consist of all of my designs, jewelry, hairbows and clothing.
Lion Sight: Have you ever been featured in a fashion show?
Victoria: No…Or should I say, “Not Yet”
